2025 Legislative Session

The 2025 session of the Montana Legislature has ended. Collectively, we had multiple important wins that expanded access to healthcare and we stopped many bad bills from becoming law. We also suffered some tough setbacks.

The attacks on the transgender community were cruel and completely unnecessary. Laws are meant to protect us and to ensure that everyone is treated equally. Singling out a specific group of people because of how they identify is unconstitutional.

Montanans for Choice Take Action will work to hold legislators accountable when they don’t represent the will of the people. Join our efforts to ensure that Montana is a place where everyone is treated equally, with dignity and respect.

Use our bill tracker below to see the bills that passed, and check out our Legislator Scorecards to see how your representative voted on our key issues.

The following list of bills are those we tracked during the 2025 session that ultimately passed. This list includes bills pertaining to abortion, reproductive healthcare, transgender healthcare, LGBTQ2S+ rights, health insurance, and other bills impacting gender equality and reproductive rights. Please use the tracker to explore the focus of the bills and whether Montanans for Choice Take Action supported or opposed these bills.
